The parabolic shape of a conventional umbrella can actually have the effect of concentrating the UV rays. To combat this we have reversed the conventional UV protective design so that the silver is on the outside and the black on the inside. The silver finish filters out much of the UV strength and reflects it away from the canopy. However by having a black interior we are able to stop the sun's harmful rays from being focused on to your head and face.

The Silverback-Golf UV umbrella is manual open, has a large canopy (some 50″ / 127 cm wide) and it’s approximately 38″ from the black pistol-grip handle to end of the long steel tip. This UV sunshade features a strong, lightweight fibreglass shaft, frame and flexible ribs (all in black). This umbrella also features a black steel sliding tip cup, helping keep things neat when closed. Ideal all year round and for winter sun too...
