Our SunSibility UV Protective Clothing collection is available in 28 Fabulous colours.
We use specialist Italian fabric that has a built in UV Protection Factor (UPF) 50+ which is perfect for everyone who wants to take that extra bit of care whilst outdoors, even in the Winter Sun. Effortless and attractive sun protection at its best.
This fabric offers excellent protection preventing 97.5% of UV rays*. It is easy to wear 80% Polyamide and 20% Elastane material that is breathable, sea water and chlorine resistant, machine washable at 40º and virtually crease free – a bonus when travelling
Full length designs always offer the maximum protection, but we do offer a large selection of shorter options so you can layer your outfits. For extreme sensitivity to UV light we can offer designs doubled in fabric to enhance the level of protection but in most cases one layer is more than enough.
The general rule is double the fabric double the price, however, this does of course make the garments heavier to wear and isn’t possible with all styles. Please do discuss this with us before ordering.
Whilst every effort has been made to illustrate colours accurately online and in the brochure, final shades may vary slightly and swatches are always available upon request.
Our flattering UV Protective Beachwear is a fun range established for style and simplicity, more than for protection and does leave areas of skin exposed so don’t forget your sun cream.

*The standards AS/NZS 4399: 1996 classifies the degree of protection in terms of UPF (Ultra Violet Protection Factor) 10 minutes x UPF 50 = 500 minutes or approximately 8 HOURS protection against the UV rays.
*SunSibility works very closely with the following organisations and its members to help develop new designs. Lupus UK, The Vitiligo Society, The Albinism Fellowship, XP Support Group, BASC (British Association of Skin Camouflage), The British Red Cross, The British Porphyria Association and The National Eczema Society.
Angeli was very helpful in all our dealings with SunSibility, both at a personal level and in terms of connecting us with Tim, who supplied and fitted Llumar AU85 film to all our windows to block UVA. This has been life-changing; we have been living with blinds down and curtains drawn since my diagnosis with discoid lupus. It is a huge relief to be safe from the sun indoors, and to be able to let in the light without worrying and having to use sunscreen from dawn to dusk. Angeli was positive, practical, kind and reassuring- as was Tim. We are very greatful to have connected with them both.

I was approached by Angeli when she was a student at the London College of Fashion and I was working in the field of Sun Protection for a global company in Switzerland. She was interested in seeking my opinion and discussing with me the scientific background for the development of UV protective fabrics.
Angeli was so dedicated that she carried her idea through into her professional life. Through my interest and expertise in Sun Protection our paths crossed several times over the last 15 years.
