The complete collection includes 42 distinct styles in solid, brightly colored fabrics, as well as tropical prints and neutrals. Canvas, loose weave, microfiber, cotton twill, poly-braid, and polystraw make the Wallaroo Hat Collection washable, crushable and versatile for everyday work or play. Each Wallaroo hat has been designed with an internal or external drawstring to make it one-size fits most.
Most of the Walaroo hats do have a built in UPF 50+, this is mentioned on each product listing. These fabrics are tested by the Australian Radiation Protection Agency and block 97.5% of the sun's ultroviolet rays ( the same as our clothes ), if it does not mention it in the listing then the advertised product does not carry a SPF.
Ultraviolet radiation, or UV, is present in sunlight. The Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) shows how well a fabric protects your skin from solar UV. But remember, a Wallaroo hat only protects the skin it covers. Safeguard the rest of your body by complimenting your hat with the rest of the SunSibility collections.
